[Photo: A find of my daughter, my one and only “child”, who always knows how to acknowledge my special interests (e.g. old doors and this color of blue), for whom the following poem is written]
Because of you
life is embellished
laughter, strong
tears do stall
I am a better person
happiness, my companion
the sun finds me
water runs
air is pure
You, my sun
my water,
my air
I loved you before you were born
loved you more and more after
and
forever will
Good shaare

Thank you for including me in your Blogroll Hülya 🙂 I’m honored and I want you to know that you will definitely be on mine – not in the least, because I love doors too and the color blue and I see your Turkish! It’s one of the countries I would love to visit 🙂
This poem is a perfect example of the universe conspiring to show me something I need to see 🙂 I say this because tomorrow is my son’s 5th birthday and I’ve written him a letter that says the same things you have in your beautiful poem! I just think it was fate that led me to this poem and you 🙂
Love, Harsha.

Dear Harsha, with what a lovely reply you have given me joy on this day! I quite agree with you in that that we are led to certain people through one link (and I don’t mean anything of the electronic world…) or another. You have my thanks for your words about my poem. I wish you much happiness on your son’s 5th birthday tomorrow. I very much look forward to your poem. Love, hülya
