   A beautiful though a sad and sombre reflection of man’s progress in humanitarian achievements.
   Please forgive my cynicism in light of
   Ana Juan’s 1995 creative talent, which depicts how little said man has evolved opposite his fellowman, despite his ability of amassing gigantic fortunes, yet his persistent lack of meaningful advancement opposite the suffering of the world’s greater majority.

     I often find myself being beyond cynical, dearest Jean-Jacques, in view of the facts you so eloquently have worded. The only comfort for me is that there are thinking, feeling critical observers like yourself still raising their voices above the silence which too many choose to remain in.
