Like you, I too see the mutually damaging impact of such tendency, dear Jean-Jacques, and there is more to say about it. To pretend that one is not hurting by the actions of others in order to stop oneself from speaking out to those same others, is what was on my mind when I had conceived this eternalist notion, not much beyond…
