My dear readers, I am writing this post from the postpartum ward from the hospital. The most beautiful and adorable grandson is now in his mother’s arms – with me looking at every move he makes. I adore him. I honor him. I am just in love with him! Out of my respect to his parents, my daughter and my son-in-law, I am neither writing his name here nor do I post any of his absolutely cutest pictures. I have a feeling you will all feel my unique sense of excitement regardless. My best wishes to you all this entire week and I look very much forward to our Sunday meeting next week. You have my best wishes in everything.
My grandson is born!

It was incredible alright, dear Tatsat! The little one decided to arrive about three weeks early, only a few hours to my birthday…What a high moment I was fortunate to experience after his mother’s (my daughter, one and only child) arrival…

That must be an amazing feeling indeed. So, have you zeroed on a name for the little fellow?
Around here, when a child is born, everyone ( maternal as well as paternal grand-parents, in addition to child’s parents ) puts forth their own name for the kid. I already have 5 😉

How sweet you accept name suggestions “around there”! It is not different where my son-in-law and I are originally from. But, they decided on a name – which seems to be welcome wholeheartedly by all in the family, distant or not. Tell me the 5 you have in mind! 🙂

I might have more than 5 actually 🙂 It is sort of like having a distinct shade of love from everyone who finds himself close to the newborn. Rarely one takes into account the baby, and the difficulties he might have in remembering so many names 😀

I couldn’t agree more with you, dear Tatsat. No one seems to be thinking of the baby: just one is plenty, isn’t it? As far as I know, my cutest (temporary) roommate had two + one last name. Let’s see how long that lasts…:)

Çok teşekkürler, sevgili Teoman! Gizemlerdeyim bir süre, hastaneden hemen oraya geçtim. Bebişin yanında yatıp birazcık Kızıma biraz olsun yardımcı olmaya çalışıyorum. Cep telefonum hep sessizde. Evime döndükten sonra konuşabilirsek bir ara çok memnun olurum. Ikinize de sevgiler!
