In the circle of life

it’s the wheel of fortune

it’s the leap of faith

it’s the band of hope

‘til we find our place

on the path unwinding

in the circle…, circle of life

Some of us fall by the wayside

and some of us soar to the skies

and some of us sail through our troubles

and some have to live with the scars

I can’t be the only one who falls “by the wayside”, who has “to live with the scars”; whose emotional element overpowers reason; for whom the primal void inside – after having achieved its completion – is emptied with brute force again, only, this time, while you are conscious of the pain.  So, I ask: How, then, do you remain in “the band of hope”?

I believe the band of hope is more than just a way of looking at things. It can’t be so, because we as individuals are not passive individuals. We hope because we believe. We believe in ourselves- our capabilities and investments ( in the people around us ), and even though at times the present seems dull and dark, strive for better times ahead.

But it is intriguing, isn’t it ? To do so much, all for the unknowns ( the things that are yet to be ).

    • To continue to take in so much, “all for the unknowns” is a conscientious act that at times can go against to what extent “we believe in ourselves”. But you certainly have a good point to encourage toward the potential of “better times ahead”. Thank you for visiting but especially, for listening.
